905 cars of 4 models were recalled to repair manufacturing defects…

Yesterday, the Ministry of Economy announced that 905 cars have been recalled to repair manufacturing defects, including 902 Chrysler Grand Voyager and Dodge Nitro models, in addition to three Lincoln Aviator and Ford Explorer models.

The ministry stated in a report that the Chrysler Grand Voyager cars included in the recall for safety reasons include the 2008-2010 models, while the Dodge Nitro vehicles include the 2007-2011 models manufactured in the United States, in cooperation with the Commercial Enterprises Company, the local importer of cars. Chrysler and Dodge are in the country.

The Economy explained that the recall is due to the fact that in some cars included in the recall, the driver’s airbag logo may be loosened or separated, and thus this may lead to the emblem or the fasteners or both not remaining attached to the pillow cover while the pad is opened, and it is also likely that it becomes fixed. The emblem or emblem is ejected during the collision with the driver airbag open.

She indicated that the Commercial Enterprises Company will contact the concerned dealers to inform them of this call to bring their vehicles to examine the driver’s airbag logo for removal as a temporary repair, provided that this procedure is done for free.

As for the “Lincoln Aviator” and “Ford Explorer” cars included in the recall, the ministry indicated that they include vehicles from the 2020 model manufactured in the United States, with the aim of tightening the torque tightness of the rear seat group in the front row, in cooperation with Al Tayer Motors and the Premier Motors ».

The recall includes 3 cars from a “Lincoln Aviator” and a “Ford Explorer”.
